My kids want to know why I keep eating L/C and they can't follow the same eating plan...I seem hypocritical by shoving them full of carbs, yet tell every one they aren't as good for us as we think.
Any suggestions
cheers

Tell them they need more carbs then you at this time because of all the demands being placed on their bodies with growing, puberty and generally being alot more active.
Low GI rather then high GI though is still good for them at this stage.

Yes Sherrie is right, they can go on a low GI type diet which will still give them the amount of carbs they need to continue growing but aren't overloaded with carbs..
This will mean of course no hungry jacks, chips, pizza's, icecream, lollies etc etc., Just natural type food that you are eating, plus some GI fruits and wholegrain breads and cereal...
This is what you are aiming for once you lose all the weight you want..
