My wife and I started induction about 1 1/2 weeks ago. We both have been in moderate ketosis for most of that period. She works out 3-5 days per week at curves, a ladies gym and I weight train 3-4 days per week. I am dropping weight quite quickly at about 8 lbs after 11 days. But she has only lost about 3 lbs. She is kinda frustrated after seeing my weight loss. Is her weight loss fairly normal or should she expect more. We have stayed at or at least close to the 20 carbs per day and I know she hasn't cheated. SHe is a diet coke finatic and has cut down from 4-6 per day to three and is trying to wean herself off of it. COuld that be the real culprit? Are some people more susceptible to the affect of caffiene and possible insulin reaction than other people. I love coffee and have cut back from one or more pots per day to one cup in the morning. I am looking at going to decaf coffee but don't like the taste as well. How significant is the affect of caffiene on this diet? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
