that isnt a bad article..

I particularly liked the whole grains form other countries that are high in amino acids, etc...

I might have to check them out after i have finished induction..

I suppose its a good article in that it raises awareness of carbohydrate content in the diet and that not all carbs are the same.......

But the author has obviously no training in nutrition. To claim that complex carbs are "good" and simple carbs are "bad" is a pretty sweeping statement. Australian research has proven that the concept of "complex" and "simple" carbohydrates bears no relationship at all to the glycaemic index of a food.

And face it, the glycaemic index is the most important indicator of how your body is going to deal with any carbs that you eat by how it affects insulin production.

But if it gets the general population to sit back and look at the carb content of their diets, its a start.........

Yep it is a start....so much media coverage is bad as far as low/carb goes and I felt that this was a step in the right direction.
We are expecting a bit much for them to get itt all right first time.:rolleyes: Anything positive that is written is good I think.;)
