Hi All
I just found this website when I googled bodytrim and I think it is so inspirational...thanks!! I have just started bodytrim 6 days ago and I jumped on the scales and have lost 2.8kgs...what a thrill!! Its my free day tomorrow and I don't know whether I want a free day as my will power is actually won't power when it comes to eating:). What do you suggest???

Welcome Kellee :)
I am not following BT but I am an experienced low carber (like many others here) and personally I would recommend not having a free day just yet and give yourself and your body a chance to adjust, I think it would help, but that's just my personal opinion.

Hi kellee and welcome
You're body needs the free day to spike the calories and to basically trick your body... sorry I can't explain it any better but you will find more info on it on the actual bodytrim site which might be more helpful to you than what I can offer lol.... sorry
great going so far and all the best!

Welcome KellBell and welcome!
I don't follow bodytrim, although its seems to be very popular. And a large part of the reason why I haven't been tempted to try it is because I know I would not be able to stick to just one freeday. I think you have to experiment and find what works for you, perhaps make sure your calories are higher but stick to low carb treats so as not to trigger your craving too much? Low carb cheesecakes would be excellent, lots of calories but still low carb.

Hi KellBell
I know what you mean about not wanting a free day. I think I will be a little apprehensive the first time round - I'm only up to day 2 of the detox. As long as I can get back onto the protein only the day after the free day then I think this will work.
Hi KellBell,
Do let us know how your 'free' day goes! I know i'd be no good, I'd go a block of Cadbury's easy!!

Hi Kellee,
I know its a bit late, but have your free day (I do Bt too) on my free days I plan my splurge meal. Its normally dinner so the whole family is together, I just try to keep the proportion sensible and allow myself chocolate somewhere in the day. Keep eating protein at every meal and snack, and youll do great.
Great loss for the 1st week!!!
(I did have a big piece of cake on a free day, felt sick for it and ended in the loo the next morning, I find that I don't digest carbs too well anymore and they upset me)
Cheers Lisa

Hi All
Well my free day was yesterday and OMG....I felt really sick after my first free lunch. I didn't pig out or anything just had a normal plate of food..chicken, fried rice and 2 small pieces of battered fish. But half way through I thought I was going to throw up. Then silly me tried some dessert...well needless to say that didn't go down to well either. Has anyone else felt this bad after their free day meal.
I couldn't eat for the rest of the day, not even a snack (I know naughty naughty) and today was Protein Only. So I did not jump on the scales today, will do so tomorrow and let you know how I went. Any feedback would be appreciated
Thanks
Kellee

Hi and welcome.
I somehow accidentally fell into my free day today and I am not so happy with myself..... toast, chocolate bickies, chips................. I feel really bad.
Tomorrow will be a PO day and hopefully I have not undone all my good work so far. Tomorrow is also day 7 for me, so I will weigh in again Friday morning.
I know the book recommends a free day, but just how "free" these days should be is what concerns me.
I guess I'll have some idea on Friday after weigh in.
