View Full Version : Help...get rid of trojan horse
I have a trojan horse on my other computer, have run my AVG scan over and over but it keeps coming back again. How do I get rid of it..think I got it from youtube site.:confused:

PS: Have you tried scanning with some other programs as well like spybot, malwarebytes, superantispyware etc?

Yep using spybot and malwarebytes now and have updated my AVG. I went on to their website and this is what they recommend on the forum....hope it works.

Yep I always use a few different programs and that fixes it. Only once have I had to install a special program that gets rid of everything before windows loads but I can't remember what it is called, I have linked it here at some time or another but lol so many posts!

When you are faced with having to clean your computer of bugs.
.. it's always good practice to turn system restore off.. Then when you are sure you have rid the computer of the nasties turn it back on.
I agree Malwarebyte is a great fee program and will help in cleaning your computer. Another good free app is SpywareBlaster it will monitor in the background and pounce when nasties try and infest your computer
