Hi All,

My first post and first week towards a new me. A few years ago I gave up active sport which has played a huge part of my life and since then have steadily lossed muscle tone and gained rolls. I feel bad not only looking at myself and knowing what I use to look like but its the total lack of drive and energy thanks to my new found extra area.
I have tried and failed a few fades and have looked at bodytrim and thought why not.
My eating has been all wrong for long periods of my life, this is due to my dietrary advise that I have been using for years. The problem was that this advise was for a elite athlete, which I was for years reaching the top grade in AFL footy.
Putting all of what I've learned in the last few hours watching the dvds has opened my mind and I will have one last binge tonight and will start the 3 day no carbs from tomorrow.
I have a problem though I cant eat fish and dislike alot of the vegies like spinach etc. I have looked in the recipe area and have found some great ideas so thank you all for them.
I am 82kgs and my goal weight is 75kgs. My wife is also joining me on my quest for her own life changing. She weighs around 78kgs and her ideal weight is around 60. I know large people lose weight faster and I hope this does happen to her as she is someone who requires proof almost immediately or she gives up.
Anyway good luck and good health to everyone.
Steve

Good Luck Steve! I used to be like your wife, needed instant results, even if she doesn't get them physcially, she will feel and see them mentally, emotionally and an overall sense of well being.

Thanks for the warming message, my wife will definetly benefit from this and we are both doing it so the support will be there. It also helps cos we don't have to cook different meals so that will also help.
I just have to work out how far those 10000 steps is as we have some lovely walking tracks around our estate, I would say its around about 5kms or so.
Once again thanks.
