I am new here and still learning my way around. Great site i have to say with some very good links too! Thank you!

I wish to ask a few questions.

Firstly, while i am not on a strict self imposed LB diet i do however generally follow a low carb basic eating plan. I am finding my BS is responding well to what i am doing with no meds needed.
The question is...I am losing weight, weight i don’t need to lose, many people comment to me i am getting to thin. How does one maintain a LC diet and not lose weight?

Secondly i once enjoyed juicing my own veggies and fruit. Quite often i would substitute meals for juice and at that time felt great, really good, that was before my blood sugar monitor became necessary. The Drs. recommended i cease drinking to much juice and i did but i miss my juice! I did often drink large volumes of the stuff. Is it correct to avoid freshly juiced produce?

The best way would be to increase the good carbs. Turn up the vegies, nuts and low carb fruits!
The problem with juice is that lots of the fibre and nutrients is lost in the juicing part. Juices also contain a lot of sugar. For instance, if you hate 8 oranges in one sitting you would feel like you had eaten an orange farm, but 8 oranges is what is needed to make just a glass of orange juice. My suggestion would be for you to have more vegetable based juices with a bit of fruit in them.

Increase your fat intake, this will have pretty much no impact on your blood sugar and it will increase calories quickly :)
