:D :D
My problem is that after I get it stiff, it goes all sort of limp on me and I know I can revive it in water but often I just want to chew on it straight away.....

Well you all know I AM talking about CELERY of course!
hehehe
What am I doing wrong? I buy half a celery at a time. I store it on the shelf in my fridge (it doesn't fit the veggie bins) in the plastic wrap... but it always goes limp.
Any suggestions?

Eye catching heading!!! hehe :D

To be honest I don't buy celery that much, and what I do get is just sticks because they don't sell the bunches in my woolies anymore :(. The sticks fit in my veggie bins and they don't go soft although I probably use them before they do get soft. May I suggest that you cut the leafy bits off, cut them to a size that fits in the veggie bin - preparation! :)

Dear Rossana, I'm finally telling you something for a change!!!!!:D

Cut the leafy bits off, then chop into long pieces (usually half) and store it in a long flat lidded container in water in the fridge.

Make sure you change the water everyday, I've forgotten some before - wasn't very pretty...

Most supermarket sell 'Rob Vege Bags'

They are a green type of plastic bag, which keep veges fresher longer - we use them all the time
