I was having breathlessness and wheezing problems over the last few days. Was looking up stuff on the computer, and remembered seeing somewhere about dehydration being a contributing factor. Decided to do some research.
Check out the following .... www.naturalnews.com/001965_asthma_medical_myths.html and tynanfamily.wordpress.com/2008/10/16/asthma-and-dehydration/
I’ve been drinking a lot of extra water (just filtered rainwater ... we're on tanks:)) with a little himalayan salt added .... And guess what? started last night ... extra water with a small pinch of salt per glass, no waking up weezing last night, no coughing up mucus this morning, and no wheezing or breathlessness today, after having significant issues for the last week or so. Hmmmm....
Dehydration is also linked to chronic pain and inflammation.
Some websites promote special filters or ionisers for your water, but I think maybe the addition of good quality salt, celtic, unprocessed sea etc. could be the most important element. Also hunger and thirst are often confused, and getting enough water may help with food cravings (not today unfortunately .... had salt chips .... bummer, need to make extra effort to eat well and lower carb)
Very excited about this ... Had to share.
