Hi zabber and welcome. Congatulations on a good decision.

Yes at first glance the products can appear to be a bit expensive but so too is a bar of chocolate.

The muffin mix has got to be the best value. You get 50+ muffins out of a packet and there are soooo many varieties to make from recipies on this forum. My favorite is chocolate and hazelnut.

Protein bars are expensive because they aren't confectionary. But you are probably better off just sticking to "real" food....low fat meats and fresh veges.

If you are having cravings....are you taking chromium....it works.

Ketosis is a great help in snubbing your nose at those teasing carb loaded goodies at work. Are you in ketosis?

And don't forget your 3 litres of water a day.

i do drink heaps of water as it is the only real breverage allowed except for decafe i have about 3 of those a day as well
condsidering i use to drink anywhere from 5-10 cups of the real stuff thats not to bad.
i really hate to excersise however i am going now to walk down to the video shop where as before i would drive
and hopefully my partner will play tennis with me tonight if the rain holds out

Welcome

Have a good look around on these forums you should find everything you need.
I must agree with Sandy on the muffin mix, it's good value as far as muffins go but even better is it makes a great cheesecake base! :D

Hello Zabber, welcome to the forum.I agree about the muffins, they are really a low cost snack ,they not only taste good but are great for fibre and well worth the money.
There are cheaper brands of protein powder around but taste pretty ordinary. I get the MRM shake from the POH shop and it is so nice. You might feel it is expensive but it works out to be about $2.60 a serve, not much different to you regular flavoured milk drinks.;)
