Heres a thread for all things Bodytrim+. Your thoughts and views on it, likes or dislikes whatever you think of it positive or negative.

Well I ordered it, but haven't received it yet. I am looking forward to hearing about the Psychological reasons for failure on BT which, unfortunately I struggle with, and the techniques BT+ was offering to counteract that.
I got my bonuses yesterday via email. I had a quick look at the weekly meal plans and I liked that!
I will return to post more after I listen to the audio today whilst driving.
BT works, no doubt about it, but for me, stringing consecutive days together is the challenge. That's a head thing, cause you have managed to go it Akasha consistently through your weight loss.
I wish I had your stamina!
I read your thoughts on it in your diary, so maybe it is the bonuses that hold the key for me?
Heres hoping!

I got my bonus`s too yesterday. I didn`t think much of the meal plan thing as some of the recipes are already in the Bt+ book. They say they are planning on selling this in the future for around 100 dollars each, I don`t know how they can get away with sellling these things if they have already copied the content of them from other products they have already sold.
I started listening to the Dr Natalie Green audio yesterday and I liked it, I thought it was ok and a nice addition to the pack but I don`t think its in depth enough for someone needing to work with emotional eating issues and other eating issues. I think they probably reserve that as they have this item selling at Bt
http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.970205/sc.52/.f
I did not buy this one as its too expensive for me nearly 600 dollars.
I wouldn`t say I had stamina to stay in here with keeping on track with Bt Maree. I have had my ups and downs with it and still do but the only reason I was able to get where I wam now was that I worked with my emotional issues in relation to food. I really recommend the Dr Phill Ultimate Weight Solution book to anyone as that is what I used. I ignored the recommended diet part in the book but the psycological side of it and work in it was really invaluable to me. I think anyone wanting to buy Bt would be best off just buying the original Bt pack and getting the psycological help from elsewhere like the Dr Phill book. I just found the Dr Phill book more in depth because when you think about it we have gotten where we are in our weight loss battle from a life time of conditioning and it takes time and work to try to fix these things. I had allot of negative internal dialogue I had to work with and its something that I have to keep on working with. I think the audio disks are a nice addition to the Bt+ pack but to work through eating issues to keep weight off in the long term I think something further and more in depth is needed. But thats just my thoughts who knows this may be enough to work for some.

So I order my Bodytrim Plus. It cost $109 incl postage. Was from internet OKME.com.au.
I started my protein days today. Haven't broken yet, but I'm tired.
I am 115kg and wish to get to 85kgs. I have been 141kgs about 8 years ago and got down to 90kg for about a day, using Lite n Easy, but now I can't lose weight using the same. So I have tried the Bodytrim, and found it can work, but my lifestyle and willpower is my problem. Here's hoping
I met a lady, while walking one day and she told me she had lost 80kgs on Bodytrim, so I was converted.

I have been on Bodytrim since March but it was a borrowed copy and I didnt have the DVD's. I have lost 11.5kgs with about 14 to go. I was looking at buying my own copy when the announcement about Bodytrim+ was made so I thought "perfect I'll get the new one".
I received it only a few days after ordering so I was very happy with that. There have been a few teething problems with the new website but they are working to fix things. I cant say what the old DVD's were like but the new ones are good, a bit of additional info that's not in the book. I particularly like the audios from Dr Green but like Akasha said it may not be indepth enough if you have a serious psychological issue. Luckily I dont I just like food a bit too much!:D
The website is the main thing for me. The resources available on there are great and I think I will keep the membership up after my free 8 weeks is up. At $5 a week its cheaper than the tim tams and choccie I used to have.
I hope this works for you Carolauxx. You did it once before so that proves you can. I really believe there is a system for everybody but nothing that will suit everybody. We need to find whats right for us. For me its Bodytrim as nothing else had worked. The theory of regulating blood sugar and insulin and reducing cravings for sweet things makes a lot of sense to me. As my mother and her family are diabetics I am determined not to be the same.
So my thoughts on Bodytrim+ are all positve. The new look kit is good and the extra info and recipes are good although the basic diet is the same. A couple of people on the BT forum were complaining that it was just the same thing in a new cover. I dont think BT ever said it was a new diet just that the help and support would be improved.
If you already have the original BT I probably would not bother with the new one but I would look at paying for the Trimclub membership and get the online support that is available.
Happy BT'ing

You know that emotional eating audio was probably not in depth but rather just an intentional taste so you would buy the other one!

Hi all
am wondering if those who are doing bodytrim can let me know if there are any protein bars or drinks available in the shops that are allowed on bodytrim.
Am doing good so far, got through 3 day protein, but really need protein snacks on the run.
Thanks

Hi carolauxx, Yes there is a couple in the supermarket that are ok. Aussie Bodies HPLC bars. These are very big so you have half at a time. There is also a drink box the same brand but you must look for the one that says Low Carb as the others are not. My Woolies only has Dutch Choc but thats ok I like it. But be carefull the other flavors dont say Low Carb on the box. The other bar is the Atkins Choc Decandence that some on this forum like. Just need to read the labels. The book says not more than 2 or three times a week or else it can slow down your losses.
I personally make my own bars and cookies and take them with me and I also buy a plain protein powder to make shakes but I have been caught when out and needed something urgently to make my three hour snack.:D

You're welcome Carol, the various recipes are in the thread BODYTRIM RECIPES under recipes. Most of my recipes I have adapted from these or the ones on the bodytrim website.
The best one is a cookie recipe I adapted from a ordinary recipe just "de-carbed" ie; swaped flour for ground almonds and sugar for splenda. I usually halve the quantities and experiment til I get it right. I usually add some extra protein powder as well so I can use it for protein snacks.
My quick protein shake is a scoop of powder in 250mls cold water with half a packet (teaspoon) of strawberry diet jelly crystals. You can also have a teaspoon of cocoa and a sachet of sweetner. You can take a shaker with the dry ingredients in it and add the water at snack time. Sometimes I put psyllium in as well if I need the fiber but does make it a bit "grainy". I like to use plain protein powder so I can cook with it or flavor my shakes however I like.
I will go have a look at the BT recipe thread and post some recipes if I can't see the ones I use.
Love Kerry

Thats a good deal Carolauxx, I hope Bt works well for you and you get the results that you are seeking.
I took myself off the free Trimclub membership that was offered. I found it all annoying having to log in using an invoice code each time to get into trim club and then having to log in using my username and password separately on the forum. I didn`t care that it was free, I didn`t see what extra they were offering on the trimclub for me to continue with it by paying for it in the future, it just looked like the same features just on a new design of a web page. I think the free forum is good on there if you want support but I still prefer to post away and keep my diary on here.
I am a bit over Bt with all the sales stuff that comes through. I have asked them not to text me anymore and have taken myself off the email lists. I don`t want to be tempted to buy anymore stuff.

I am doing ok, with BT but slowed up till New Year. I agree I cant see the benefits of the Trimclub, and wont continue after 6 weeks.

Hi there. I'm starting on low carb and like the low-fat, low carb of Body Trim.
How have you found it?

You are my inspiration.
I'm now 95 kgs after struggling down from 108 to 79 and now back up after a holding pattern that lasted mostly for 5 years.
The last year was a shocker and now I want to focus on me and getting my body back.
I'm thinking of Body Trim. Like you I struggle with the mental side of things and looking forward to a show on SBS on Tues 29/12 called the House of Food Obsessives. It really targets the mental side of the big change we are tackling with our relationship to food.
Are you still on the plan?

That show is on tonight, lucky I checked the forums. Have series linked it.
ATM diet is going bad. Wanted to get back into it today but realised still too many functions to attend. So Jan 1 is the day.
I have heard a whisper that my son is going to spring a surprise wedding on us in 6 weeks, and I really want to be down 10kgs. Can I do it?

Go Carol! 10kgs in 6 weeks - get cracking wont you? Did you get the Bodytrim email about the extra steps and extra water over the holiday season? If not I will explain.
BT has asked those of us how are struggling at this time, to drink an extra bottle (600mls?) of water a day and try for 15000 steps.
I have managed to drink some extra water and today I got to 15000 without too much trouble. I was able to take an hours walk along the beach with my son. This wont happen every day but if the opportunity arises I will do an extra 30 mins to what I already do. Someone on the BT forum said they tried it to overcome a plateau and ended up losing 3kgs in a week :)
Keep us informed on your progress and good luck.

Hey Kapay
Can you outline for me the basics for Bodytrim?
I found it once on this site - but cannot relocate it.
As I understand it:
3 x days Protein only
...something with lean protein
1 x day a week with 2 meals of your choice. A 'free' day.
Thanks
Jen

Sorry Subi Girl, I have been off the air a bit lately and did not see your post. Thankfully Sherrie has gotten all the bodytrim stuff altogether for us under the new thread of Bodytrim 2.
I will assume you have seen it and not need me to explain now but please let me know if you want any help or tips.
I have been on the bodytrim website a bit lately but other than the forum I dont see any need for me to keep on with the trimclub once my free membership finishes.
I am a bit disappointed actually as I had decided to spend the money and do everything I was supposed to do in order to kick this thing (the weight). But there seems to be nothing on trim club worth payiing for. The recipes maybe, but $20 a month for acccess to recipes I may or may not use seems a bit steep. Even the weigh in and measurement info can be gotten on other websites.
Anyone got any reasons why I should stay with trimclub?

No..... I think trim club is a waste of time and MONEY never seems to works properly very frustrating.
Kapay
11-02-2011, 01:28 AM
Yes I am inclined to agree with you Hailkiwi. Just lately the only time you hear from them is when they are trying to make you buy something either the bars, the cookies or now the nutrashot stuff.
The thing is, I love BT. It really works for me and I really "Get" it - but the hard sell is a bit much for me to take.
So I think I will let my membership lapse and still use their forum if I want. This forum is better anyway :D

I borrow the orignal BT of a friend and to be honest I found the DVDs boring I bought BT plus off a auction website mainly because it came with a reference/ cook book and have learnt a lot more from that.
Also with the recipies it gives me more ideas of what I can do with the food your allowed to eat. I haven't watched the DVDs yet but don't think I need to since I've ready the book. I'm only on Day 5 of BT and so far so good.

Hi everyone
I have a question about "Quick Bodysculpt Advanced Free Days". What are they? I have been on the same weight now for about 6 weeks, up and down. I can have a free day and put on 2kgs and then it takes me 2 weeks to get it off, so I am stuck!! Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey there ...
No difference between Bodytrim and Bodytrim+ that I know of.
I have both, the book for the second is larger (more recipes) but the info is basically the same.
Bodysculpt is the one that's different.

Hi Morte,
Thanks for getting back to me, I must say I am a little disappointed that it is not different. So how is it that he can sell it saying its improved and you can loose up to 6kg in first week. I wish. Oh well. Thats the answer then, stick to what I know and better get back on the wagon and stop making excuses

You've hit the nail on the head with the words "sell it". Once anything is a commercially limited closed system - i.e. you cannot get it except by buying into the system - then it all starts to fall apart, IMHO. I far prefer systems like Atkins and others where you can read the book first (shock, horror, for free at the library if you are lucky) & then make up your mind if it is for you or not.
Good luck with it, you will get lots of support here whatever low carb plan you choose

I sold my Bodytrim + kit on ebay and got my money back for it :D. I always seem to refer to my original Bt kit so it was just sitting there gathering dust.
