I started off on Atkins and was doing OK (not spectacular as I am a slow loser). Then tried a hybrid of Atkins and BT, and the free days are killing me - gaining about 2kg and JUST losing it and a little extra the rest of the week. Check out my diary for my tribulations! Good luck for Wednesday - if you start a diary you too can have a log of your progress.

I couldn't see that you have a diary, but wanted to drop in and say hi, as we seem to have a lot in common. I too am married with 2 children, and am an admin officer.
But more importantly we are about the same weight - I'm sitting around 140kg at the moment, and hoping to get down to 80kg (which I haven't been since I was 13yo - and i'm now 41!). I'd love if you could tell me a bit about yourself.
