    Too much or not enough

I feel like I rattle after taking all mt pills and potions through the day so i am wondering if anyone thinks I am taking to many or maybe not enough supplements

    breakfast time
    1 swisse multivitiam for woman
    1 calcuim complete
    800 mgs l-carnitine
    1000 mg fish oil
    1000 mg vitamin c powder

    Lunchtime
    1 calcuim complete

    Afternoon
    800 mg L-carnitine

    Dinnertime
    1 calcuim complete
    20 mls flaxseed oil

    bedtime
    20 mls flaxseed oil

God that looks so much stuff when it is all written down. Oh and also take 2 naturebee capsules of a morning. I got sucked into buying these off the radio but I am only taking them because i have themand dont intend on buying anymore.

You must be single-handedly supporting the vitamin industry !!

    My list reads

    morning...

    vitamin C
    multivitamin
    calcium

    afternoon

    psyllium husks

    Thats it..

Oh after all that I had to stop those Vit C tabs as it finally dawned on me that they we're giving me a big rash when taking high doses.

Will have to find another brand.

I don't take anything except creatine after training and l-glutamine in my protein shake.

I absolutely HATE taking tablets (not that I don't believe they work, I just hate swallowing them) so I try and get nearly everything I need through my diet. I must be doing something right because my training is pretty heavy and I am never sick with anything.

If you want to save money you should get it in powder form and take it that way. Musuashi make L-Carnitine powders. I get mine from America when I get my B5 powder but I do know a good price for it.

    50g for $44.40 or 100g for $78.90

That might seem like alot but compare that to your capsules

i think the whole supplement attitude can be a deceiving one..

Im not saying that they are useless - however, if you really, really looked into it you could take up to 15 supplements per day for all your dietry requirements for every vitamin known to man, and probably still fall short...

Who is to say that over the 30 or so years you have been living that you havent been deficient in these vitamins prior to taking supplements - however you are still alive and kicking !!

i can honestly say that i have not woken up one morning, felt a bit off and said "oh...i need another 19mg of Vitamin K".

As sanuk has said - there is no substitute for proper eating. Trust in that, take some basic vitamins and let the rest sort itself out...

A comment from Homer Simpson said it best..

Marge: "Homer - dont take those vitamins, they werent prescribed to you..."
Homer: "..Who knows Marge - maybe im not getting enough...(reads label)...Estrogen".
    Cheers, Matt.
