    Arrow Atkins Induction Recipes

Okay I just had a thought that it would be good idea to help the newcomers and link to all the recipes that we have here that would be suitable for induction, I will do it bit by bit over the next few days.

    Baking

This is an old recipe from the Atkins Diet Revolution 72 version. You could eat them in the first week no worries so these will definately be fine for induction. They are made from egg whites and are used as a bread roll:

    Atkins Diet Revolution Rolls

    Cream Cheese Muffins

    Oopsie rolls

    Low Carb "Bread"

    Low Carb Cake

    Beef and Veal

Veal with Bacon and Mushroom Sauce

    Meatballs

    Baked Cabbage & veal

    Teriyaki Meatballs

    Lorraine's Beef Stroganoff

    Laredo Barbecued Pot Roast

    Josie's Shepherds Pie

    Italian Casserole

    Beef Stroganof

    Beef Roast Au Jus

    Veal Stew

Decadent Crockpot Beef Stew With Red Wine

    Crockpot Hungarian Beef Goulash

    Catalan Beef Stew

    Desserts - Sweets

Keep in mind, low carb fruits and nuts or nut meals are a no go during induction. Also make sure your serving fits in with your daily, cream and cheese limits. If unsure of your limits, refer to your book or refer here: Atkins induction food lists
For the first 1-2 weeks it is probably safer to stick with diet jelly and then experiment after that.

    Diet Jelly and whipped cream

    Almost Rice Pudding

    Egg Custard

    Egg Custard (Naked Chef)

    Quick Vanilla Custard

    EGGS
Keep in mind with recipes like frittatas and quiches they typically serve 4 to 6. These ones listed here should fit into induction if you divide them up in serves of 4-6. The other ones that I have not listed here in this thread, unless they contain a non induction food like Almonds as in the quiche lorriane with a crust they should be fine if you made them into smaller serves again to eat as a side dish with say meat. You should find them linked in the Eggs thread.

    Mini Philly Frittatas

    Vegetable Quiche

    Spinach Cheese and Bacon Pie

    Yummo Scrambled Eggs

    Sassy Spinach Baked Eggs

    Sweet Omelette

    Tuna and Asparagus bake

    Tuna or Salmon Muffins

    Bacon and Zucchini Omelette

    Easy Eggs

Fried Mushroom, Onion and Tomato Omelette

    Re: Atkins Induction Recipes

Okay guys this is almost finished. If anything looks out of place please let me know because I havn't done induction for ages so it is always possible. I have been trying to be as careful as I possibly can, so it should be pretty correct.

All thats left I would say are things like salads, vegetables and snacks which I should complete today. I will post again when it is complete so you know as this thread doesn't update as a new post or anything when I edit it.

One question is cocoa powder 100% okay on induction? anyone know for sure? I have checked both the 2002 and 72 books and found nothing definative.

    Re: Atkins Induction Recipes

Are there any biscuits (preferably home-made), sweet or savoury, that we can have during induction?

    Re: Atkins Induction Recipes

They usually contain almond flour but you might be able to find an induction friendly macaroon. That said induction is only 2 weeks, you could start experimenting after that with nut meals.

    Re: Atkins Induction Recipes

I love all these recipes but sometimes need the hard copy to motivate my terribly bad culinary skills! Looked on the internet and found a few low carb recipe books (The Big Book of Low-Carb Recipes, Low-carb Meals in Minutes and Low-Carb Cookbook For Dummies) these look good – quick and easy but there is so much more to choose from – which one shall I go for? Any better suggestions?
BTW Sherrie – thanks so much for your recipes that you posted – I will use these too – just sometimes I need the real thing, in book form, right in front of me!

    Re: Atkins Induction Recipes

There is a book called The Illustrated Atkins New Diet Cookbook, I really liked this one. There are some threads here on more books, will see if I can find them for you.

Thanks Sherrie you are a total star! Some other members also mention getting books from the library - i never even thought of this but if i can save a few bob while loosing weight then i guess thats a bonus, or a loss, whichever way you look at it!
