Re: Queensland - where are you?
Depending on how old you are... i am ... erm, a child of the mid 70's, we may well have bumped into each other. I grew up in Babinda. Lol, small world huh.

Re: Queensland - where are you?
I'm 33 in January, a 79 baby :-) One of my good school friends grew up in Babinda and now lives in Cairns, Nicky Jurd. And yes, it's a small world!

Re: Queensland - where are you?
Hi all I live in Albany Creek (north Brisbane) moving to tin can bay on the 21 Jan 2012. Love this state! Love Brisbane but am going to enjoy the lease hectic life at the coast!

Re: Queensland - where are you?
Hi fellow Queenslanders...I'm in sunny Yeppoon. Let's hope we're spared all cyclone damage this summer.

Re: Queensland - where are you?
HI I am from Holland Park in Brisbane so if any one is around would be happy to catch up and gather (and share if I can) any good advice, recipes or just support.
I haven't always been a Brisbane girl but haven't travelled to far from home, Esk. Although I did go to uni in Lismore and worked in Toowoomba for a while. I do love Brisbane though so I would say we will be here for awhile to come

Re: Queensland - where are you?
Hi there. I'm born in rockhampton so am very familiar with Yeppoon. Been a few years since I've been though. And yes I do love Brisbane but being only two hours drive from it won't be a drama. I've lived remote mining towns most of my life so to travel only two hours to get to Brisbane will be easy! Have a great year.

Re: Queensland - where are you?
I thought this forum was due for an update:
I'm in Ipswich. Yes I know: Ipswich; Brisbane's slightly uncool cousin hahaha.
But I love it here, nice and country-town-ish, and the people are so friendly.
And while enjoying all this, I'm only half an hour away from the metropolitan life of Brisbane.
So, anyone around in my area? (Or Brisbane)
Cheers,
Arcticgirl
