    Barbecued Mince Pizza

I was going through an old mince meat recipe book and came across a couple of normally high carb recipes that were actually low carb!

    First one being Pizza!

I haven't tried these so no idea if they are any good...

    Barbecued Mince Pizza

    500g minced beef
    3 bacon rashers, diced
    250g mozzarella cheese, sliced
    2 TBL parmesan cheese, grated
    1 large onion, diced
    90g mushrooms, diced
    1 sm green capsicum, diced
    1 medium tomato, sliced
    2 cloves of garlic, crushed
    1/4 cup tomato paste
2 TBL sweet chilli sauce (maybe something home made?)
    1/2 tsp dried oregano
    1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried basil (I reckon fresh would be nice?)

Crisp bacon in pan and drain on absorbent paper.

Combine mince, onion, paprika, oregano and chilli sauce in bowl then press into a 28cm pizza pan.

Spread top with tomato paste and remaining ingredients. Cover with foil and BBQ for 10mins.

Remove foil, drain juices then BBQ uncovered until mince is cooked through and cheese is melted. Drain of anymore juices then serve. I am assuming you could do it in oven too?

    The picture actually looks yum

Says the recipe does not freeze.
