    Talking Progress..Yehaa!!

Did our weigh in today and I'm down 1.9kg whilst Kwan is down to 56kg.

One step at a time and NEVER gone hungry.

    Cheers.

    Thankyou.

I am especially pleased for Kwan as I can see it has provided extra incentive.

Personally I have felt something was happening, as pants have become a little loose and I have generally felt better, other than 2-3 days ago.

I am so pleased that this program delivers results and it's certainly NOT because we are counting calories, we have no idea in resepct to calories.

In addition, we have done fairly much bugger all exercise, other than a few swims at the pool (recreational swims, not laps) and only managed two days of walking before the rains hit.

    Thanks again to all.

    Oh...I forgot to ask.

I read that a Cup is 250mls, which I presume would be of water weight, which would equate to 250gms.

Is this correct, because 250gms of salad looked like one hell of a lot.

    Thank you.

A cup is 250mls yes, but that doesn't equate to 250grams unless you are talking liquid.

If you want more salad than the cup rule allows how about weighing it and doing the carb count yourself

I read somewhere that a cup of salad would look about the size of a baseball in your hand. I don't know if this is correct but working it out by weights using calorie king (subtract fibre content from actual carbs when using fresh unpackaged foods) would be a great learning curve. Once you've done it a few times you will get a good feel for how much you can have.
