    She doesn't mention the effect that it can slow down your thyroid or cause gallstones. Mind you shes talking about a minimum of 1200 calories, that's not a crash diet so by giving the impression that it is she will be tell others that its ok to follow some crazy crash diet with much lower calories. Mind you, even with a minimum of 1200 calories that would mean you have to start at a higher calorie level because as you lose and your metabolism adjusts you will need less and less calories.
