    Hi,

I have to agree with you & at the moment I am calorie counting to give me more variety but keeping carbs down as much as I want. This will keep me more satisified as I got sick of so much protein.

What about trying Bt Maintenance for a while. Not that I have studied the maint part.

Hope you find a plan that suits you.

Re: HELP!!!! A good lowcarb Diet?

Hey, you a not alone, i feel exactley the same way. Its kinda good that im not alone. at the moment it feels like im slaughtering myself and getting no where. And im falling into temptation at least once every day then pull myself back into it. Im thinking about taking a full week off from tomorrow and as of next thursday try and kick start again and in that time try and rethink my priorities because i want this to work so bad and ive already made it this far. I reckon we could fiddle with it a bit and maybe say have 2 free days and 2 PO days and have a few days on the weightloss phase without carbs. Like free day on sunday and wednesday and have something small on one day, maybe a small pizza etc on one night but make that all you have. Im thinking that if i take a week off and not worry, still exercise though and then kick start next week with 3 day PO i can get back into it for the remainder of the holidays and into next term. When you put it into perspective aprroximatley 15kg in less then 3 months is pretty darn good.
Ive bounced from 90.7 to 94.9 down to 93.9 down to 92.6 up to 93.3 down to 92.9 and i dont know what tomorrow will hold for me. With all the exercise ive done id expect more, 400g just didnt seem like a good enough loss yesterday and that is why i nearlly sabotaged myself today.
Dont stress, you are not alone. Maybe we should both take a week off and enjoy easter (put on a few kg, not too many i hope) then pool all our motivation to kick start again after easter. At least then well feel horrible after sunday and want to start again. Like after christmas i knew that was it.

    Kel And Justin::

Im so happy im not Alone!!

I cant believe how difficult this past two weeks have been for me im still sitting on about 93.8..

Justin i think the idea of letting this week go might be a good Idea and starting back next week.. But i Really wanted to look good for Easter.. And Wouldnt want to feel all bloated for It.. Ahh Decisions Decisions!!

Ive lost 10 kilos and im Definetly Not putting it all back on so im definetly Determined to contine with something.. But at this point im not Sure if Body trim is right For me... I just dont think its something i could keep up with long term as Its been 3 months and ive already come to a stall...?? So Before Next monday i need to decide what i should do as this week i can do a few Testing days and see if anything works for me..

Ive been thinking about swapping over to Weight watchers.. OR Atkins... But dont know what to do.. Id really love someones opinions on either of these Diets

I think Tomorrow i might have a bit of a Free Day..
But not so sure... I will see how the day goes..

Justin Mke sure u keep me updated on what ur doing this week cos it wil be interesting to know

Re: HELP!!!! A good lowcarb Diet?

I think im going to have minor free days until monday, not meals or anything but maybe get something small to snack on through the day like dark chocolate or nutella. Depends though, if i have a decent loss i may just go another day. I know friday and sunday could be bad so i might just suck it up until friday. If i dont have a decent loss im all for kick starting because i do know bodytrim is for me its just a bit sluggish at the moment. Ill see how it all pans out tomorrow morning. Im going to see if theres an aqua class tomorrow night at the other pool i live near and go and do that.

Ok - time for some tough love!

Sydgirl - you have done such an amazing job in a short period of time - do NOT underestimate what you've achieved here. Yes, you've struggled over the past few weeks but don't forget, this is a huge shift to what you're used to. Only a few weeks ago you said to someone "once you get used to it, you'll find that you're in charge and not your body" - have a good long hard think about whether you really want to stop what has worked for you over the past few months to try something different. Remember it's mind over matter. Have a nice break over Easter, have a good think about it and then make the decision - that way you can put your hand on your heart and know you've made the right choice.

    Good luck with it

    Hi,

This is why I suggest calorie counting so you can have a break from Bt but still be in control & not put weight on. Also it will give you time to sort out what you want to do.

Regarding WW remember you are paying all that money & most people put the weight back on when they leave. Just have a break.

Re: HELP!!!! A good lowcarb Diet?

I feal the same way about the protien snacks and nope I am not about to buy the bt shakes either, I am so sick of spending my money with that company. I tried things like eating kidney beans or chickpeas instead or making ricotta cheesecakes but one thing I reallised is that only the meat protien snacks made me feal satisfied. If I replaced it with anything else I was still hungry. I was only on atkins for a short time but one thing I did like about it was that by having only 3 meals a day I didn`t have to think or worry about snacks and when I did have a snack it wasn`t meat. But the downside is you spend allot of time counting carbs. I have done weight watchers in the past too and I have to say, I found allot of there recipes grose and I was always hungry. Anyhow it sounds like you have decided to stick with Bt anyways
