Antidepressants
I have been on a combination of antidepressants for many years and have gained 30 kllos. I have tried to lose weight but nothing seems to work. I can gain weight even dieting. I just wanted to know if anyone was in a similar situation and lost weight on the body trim diet. I was thinking of trying it but I didn't want to waste my time if it wasn't going to work.

Re: Antidepressants
I would definitely give low carb a try at least. I'm not surprised about the anti depressants, at the very least low carb should stop the weight gain but you may still be able to lose. I think a lot of anti depressants cause sugar cravings etc which low carb just so happens to help a lot. I would probably suggest going straight low carb though like Atkins especially if you find that your anti depressants cause a lot of sugar cravings and hunger issues. I would also suggest the majority of carbs at night instead of morning to help boost serotonin

Re: Antidepressants
Hi Crustychris, did you end up trying Body Trim? Also, exercise helps with depression and you may then be able to reduce your antidepressants. At the least it will help with your fitness and energy levels, and assist with weight loss.
