What do you do when you slip up? (Body Trim)

    Hello lovelies,

As the thread title suggests, what do you do when you slip up?

For instance, Friday was my cheat day and Saturday was PO. Today I visited a friend who just had a baby and made banana cake for my visit- she seemed really upset I wasn't going to have a slice (hormones?) so I did.

Would you count today as your cheat day or would you just carry on?

I'm not on BT but I believe on BT you can split your free day up into two separate free meals instead. I guess when situations like that arise you could always make it a free meal then on your free day just have one more free meal.

I would keep on going.... don't sweat it..

If it makes you feel better i drank a whole bottle of shiraz lastnight. Not the best choice in the world I don't feel guilty about..(Trying to tell myself i'm not anyway.)

I figure 98% time I am making far better choices than I did 3 weeks ago to improve my health.. that has to count for something.

And the truth is we are human. Whilst I am retraining my internal dialogue I will make mistakes. Each time I eff up I learn from it..

Good thread--l agree, we're only human and bound to mess up every now and then. l'm doing well so far but l haven't had any big 'temptations' put in front of me in the last 2 weeks (ie any social occassions with lots of wine!) When it does happen, and it will, l plan to get straight back on the horse asap! I've always been a big carbohydrate eater, so eating this way is completely new for me, and l'm not perfect lol!

If you really broke, like I did tonight by having a hotdog IN A BUN for dinner, just do a PO day tomorrow, and carry on.

If it's a small break, don't sweat the small stuff, and carry on.

Don't let life derail you. BT is supposed to fit AROUND life, not force your life to fit around it.

    So ... Carry on

sometimes things happen (out of your control like) and you slip up....

Last week, we had a visitor who brought along pizza... we had been working hard, painting.. hadnt had dinner... so um yes, 3 slices please...

Last night went to a concert... warm night, so had a beer!!!! Spirits were way too exxy... lol..

I think try to do BT as much as possible, but dont sweat the small stuff... just do the best you can...

Whatever food plan we are on has to fit into our lifestyle. Whenever we have something not quite perfect just do your best with the next meal do not allow the slip up to continue.
