    New member checking in!

    Hi everyone

Wow, what a great resource of information these forums are! Makes it a lot easier and gives you a lot of great ideas!

Anyway, quick introduction. I'm a (just turned yesterday!) 25 year old guy living in Melbourne. My girlfriend actually found out about Bodytrim back in 2009 and gave it a go, as did I to offer moral support. I found it fine, but she struggled and gave up before 1 month!

Fast forward 3 years or so, and a change in career with pretty much no physical exercise, bad eating habits and just general laziness - and I've jumped from around 85 kgs to a whopping 107 kg. Actually, I knew I was getting big, but the scales had run out of batteries and I couldn't be bothered replacing them but when I finally did - WOW, it's time to act!

I remembered back to my brief foray into Bodytrim a few years ago and decided to give it another go.

I chose the start of April, and although I'd have to get through Easter and my birthday within the first 10 days I was pretty determined!

And so the 3 days of protein only weren't so bad, just a few niggly headaches in the afternoon and I'm into the swing of things.

I've been getting up an hour earlier and going for a walk to the park every morning before work, and depending on how many times I go around the lake (which is about 1km each circumference) my daily walks have been anywhere between 3.5 - 6km. Feeling great.

Had my first weigh in on Sunday (before my 'free' day, which was also my birthday) and came in at 102 kg, so I'm very happy with that.

Unfortunately my free day consisted of quite a bit of alcohol and some carbs (birthday cake and also an easter egg etc) but that's ok - another protein only day today, and I'll weigh myself same time next week.

Look forward to checking back regularly for a bit of motivation and answers to some of my questions!

    Jeremy

    Thanks guys.

I also found a yummy 'treat' at Safeway the other day - sugarfree gummy bears by Double D confectionery they do have high calories though (and cost a fortune) but they are yum
