I have reached day 3 of the dexox and am starting to feel good. I had a really bad headache on the first day but a half strength coffee with a teaspoon of cream helped a lot.
I tried the Dukan Diet last year which has a lot of similarities to this and I know I felt great on that, but I've crept back into eating carbs over the last few months and they really don't make me feel very well. I can't believe how good I feel after just 3 days. I have been feeling VERY hungry so have gone over on the 100g protein for meals and 50g snacks but at least I'm eating protein and not other rubbish!
I've found the recipe thread great and have cut and pasted heaps of ideas. I am looking forward to eating veggies tomorrow and this time I am going to take the time to plan out my weekly menu. Getting home from work at 6pm and having to think about what to cook is not a good idea. I found it hard following the Dukan as every 2nd day had to be protein only and it got really boring, this one is only 1 protein day a week. I have struggled to 'stay regular' over the 3 days as fibre supplements don't seem to agree with me and I've been drinking 3 L of water so the fibre in the veg will be very welcome
I'm feeling really positive that with this I'll be feeling more comfortable with myself. I've never posted on a forum before but it has really motivated me reading everyone elses post that I know it's going to be a great help.
