    Milk while on Bodytrim

    Hi was just wanting to ask if its ok to use milk to mix up protein shake and using the shake as my protein shake. Thanks in advance

    I am not on BT but the answer to that will be no. In low carb diets you need to mix a protein shake up with water, some low carbs diets but not BT will let you add a little cream also.

    I saw a thread where someone added the protein powder to a small amount of natural yoghurt. I do that for breakfast now, 1/3 of a cup of low fat natural yoghurt, 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder and some water to get it back to a yoghurt consistency and a sprinkle of oats/raw muesli to add a bit of texture and interest... and I have soy milk in my coffee. It still has some carbs (but we're supposed to consume a serve of carbs at breakfast on the weight loss phase) and it's higher in protein than cow's milk.I only have it in the morning mind you! I figure on bodytrim dairy is 'tolerated' so that's how I'm approaching it.

    I actually found that there are recipes in the book that contain milk in them anyways, but I think the ones I have seen are for breakfast only. I had the vanilla protein cereal this morning with All Bran. Was very filling and I had to actually remind myself to have a snack as I wasn't hungry !!! So, for the fact that dairy is within the recipes in the book, Im guessing its fine when used for breakfast. But I think I will just try and use water if I decide to have a protein shake for a snack.
