Bakers Club Super Bread (as seen on ACA)

I was pretty excited about this, so I ordered some (since they had none left on sat when I went to get some) and picked it up today. I wrote up a review of it on my blog. Short story - really nice but not as low carb as it's being advertised to be. Well it is as low carb, but a "serving" of 35g which ahs 2.6g carbs is about half a piece of bread

Anyone else tried it and have any thoughts?

Yes I just pulled up the nutritional information and it is low carb Baker's Club No 1 Bread Brochure in PDF in comparison to normal bread.

But like usual it's choco full of soy and wheat, you couldn't pay me enough to eat it!

Best to make your own so you have control of what's in it

Sinders said just the other day that she had a really good bread recipe here but I can't find it.

Personally I don't particularly like bread so I have only ever made the cauli dough (makes good pizza bases and garlic bread), oopsie rolls and instant almond bread.

Ok, so i got some of this bread delivered, pretty Damn expensive stuff let me tell you but on first try...it's not bad, very Germanish style, dense and seedy. My partner who is German says it's like a light pumpernickel..

Will trial my loaves and see how my sugars go.

Sherrie i made my own bread for so long but I'm over it and need a rest from it. I don't think I'm gluten intolerant but i certainly got an upset tummy with the wheat gluten and couldn't stand the smell..almost needed a peg on my nose..lol
I also have this wizz bang knife i bought in tassie , i can cut 4mm slices lol

probably off topic but i tried some bread with lupin flour today for breakfast, i worked out that two slices were about 4grams of carbs in total and i was not hungry again for hours. it was really tasty too!
