Re: Kimkins Diet

Maybe but she does claim to do water fasts using diet coke (she doesn't drink water) plus I have read somewhere that claims she is an alcoholic so you never know.

Re: Kimkins Diet

Are you guys ready to be shocked like you have never been shocked before?

This is why I (and many others) am so passionate about this, I know there are others out there and we can't win them all but that doesn't mean we should just sit on our hands if there is something we can do to help.

This is a few blog posts regarding someone in kimkins whom is eating very, very little and exercising like crazy (running and weights), and is looking like she is experiencing problems with her electrolytes. For those that don't realise if the electrolyte imbalance gets too bad you can die suddenly. This person looks to be eating around 200 calories a day and running and doing weights? every day. There are 3 blog posts posted on medusas blog about this girl called Jane Doe (to protect her identity). I will list them in the order that they were posted and they will get more shocking each time:

Jane Doe 1

Jane Doe 2

Jane Doe 3

Thumbs up Re: Kimkins Diet

For those disgusted in the kimkins diet here is a way for people overseas to file a complaint: Econsumer.gov

If you believe this diet is a fraud then please file a complaint, as every little bit helps

Re: Kimkins Diet

Do you have any links or more info? I've done a search on the web and the ABC site and can't find anything about it! I can see lots of blog articles about ABC doing a report, but nothing about scheduling. (I'm in North Carolina USA)

Re: Kimkins Diet

Okay not sure how much I can say (just woke up) but it looks like it was delayed by 1 day. I have also heard both Kimmer and Singingass have really been trying to interfere with it too. So it should be on GMA, Sunday morning

Re: Kimkins Diet

Well it's about time...

Woman's World Magazine

Quote:
Please accept our apology
We at Woman’s World pride ourselves on finding inspiring diet successes to share with our readers every week. That’s why we were so distressed to learn that Kim Drake, the founder of Kimkins.com, gave us inaccurate information about herself and her weight loss. Though the article appeared several months ago, in our June 12, 2007 issue, and nutritionists assure us the diet information we provided was accurate, we deeply regret having shared with you a story we can’t stand behind. Your trust means everything to us, and we want to bring you the very best magazine we can, each and every week.

Re: Kimkins Diet

Unusual for them to retract anything unless they are being sued!!!
