I am just going to move the actual recipes to the bread and cake recipe threads. With the Tahini, is it allowed during the initial Induction, I didn't think it was?

Those recipes are from an Atkins greek site and they say that it is Induction friendly.

Any recipes involving kangaroo mince ? I have recently started using the mince and have found that it is leaner than the leanest mince - I have found that it needs to be cooked a bit longer but doesnt seem to dry out like normal mince. Also kangaroo sausages have the lowest fat content of any other sausages on the market. Just a suggestion to readers they could substitute the kangaroo mince in many of the mince recipes. The mince I buy is at Coles and have even found that it is alot cheaper as well.

Atkins isn't about low fat, some might find that if something is too lean they need to add fat to it to keep them satiated. Of course it's all individual

Hi Sherrie,

thanks for the links to recipes in the first post. Just a question, you've linked to lo carb bread and cake. They both have tahini in them, which is made from sesame seeds but seeds aren't allowed in induction. Would the tahini be OK because of it's fat content or wait until week 3?

You're right!!! That wasn't even that long ago but I don't remember them at all. I just double checked on the Atkins website and no seeds are listed still so I will remove those recipes, I did notice however that they now include rhubarb during induction! Thanks

There will be more induction suitable recipes, I will have to go through the recipes again and update the various threads with recipes that have been posted since.

FYI, if anyone posts an induction recipe, if you add a tag, Atkins induction that will help people find it

Hello! Im happy to have found your site...ive been doing low carb for several years & lost most of my weight. However i seem to have plateaued & want to try & take some 'extras' & just see what happens! So im officially starting induction july 5!
