I drool just looking at the photos - it is such a long time since I had oopsies that I cannot remember if they taste eggy - I like sweet things & adding the strawberries & chocolate would cover an eggy taste - when I make these they will not have the chocolate - how could you make them savoury?

The best savoury oopsies I've made so far:
Last night I made them with flax meal to make for a 'breadier' oopsie. I'll never make a savoury oopsie without it now. I added 2 heaped teaspoons of flax meal to the yolks, along with garlic powder, salt and freshly cracked black pepper. I didn't have any dried herbs on hand, but I would add those at this stage too.
I plopped the mounds on some oiled parchment, and sprinkled them with parmesan before baking.
After baking for half an hour, I turned off the oven, transferred the oopsies to a wire rack and left them in the oven with the door ajar for an hour. Then I left them loosely wrapped in parchment on the counter overnight.
They were breadier and more stable and delish! I definitely recommend making them ahead of time in this fashion. For sweet oopsies, I'm going to try adding psyllium husk instead of the flax, along with sweetener, cocoa, vanilla, rind - the usual suspects. We're all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

These look great! I don't suppose there's a version where you don't have to separate eggs?

Can I ask... is there anything in particular that these taste like? I am at a loss to find an accurate description. For example, for anyone who has had the Grill'd low carb burger roll, do they taste like these at all? The Grill'd ones are kind of a muffin-ey type taste. I might have to try cooking up some of these as I love my sandwich/burger type meals.SW: 114KG (28/06/17)

Good question, I’m using an iPad so it may be due to what I’m using but I don’t think this forum software has the option. What I do usually is copy and paste into a document. Even with a print option this first post of this thread is long with lots of images so you wouldn’t want to print it as it is anyway.Low Carb in a Nutshell ~ Carb Counts ~ Research ~ Measurements/Conversions ~ Glossary
