This is a low carb bread recipe I found on the following website: Instant Bread
I made this yesterday when I was desperate for breakfast (ran out of muffins!):

The recipe for the bread:
Ingredients:
100g Almond meal
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp baking powder
25 gr butter, melted
Method:
Preheat oven to 180C/350F
Mix ingredients together, place in a greased loaf pan.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Serves 2
Nutritional info according to website:
Per serving: 470 Calories; 43g Fat, 6g Protein, 1g Carb
Some vertical slices:

I had those with a little jam and cream whilst still warm, yum. My batteries ran flat at that point so no photo but then today I sliced the remainder in half horizontally and made toasties with tomato slices, cooked bacon and cheese:

Now the almond taste with the toasty was a little different but still nice, I think perhaps some herbs and parmesean cheese added to the bread when cooking might fix that? I think for sweet, coconut would be a nice addition.
