Now i'm not sure about this being uniform around the states, but was thinking to start up a thread when we buy things on special at coles/woolies?
Then before heading to the shops we could check it - or make a special trip to stock up! Seeing as LC can be a bit pricey and i do love a bargain:D

i just bought at coles :

greenseas tuna in olive oil (my fav) 95g - 5 for $6 (usually 1.85 each)

Lindt 85% - $2.49 (bought 6 blocks! usually $3.60)

Splenda 240gm - $10.79
- biggest packet i've ever seen in a zip lock bag - 2 x the normal box which is usually $7.50 each

i had seen people mention specials to each other in diaries etc, and often read about it after the fact - thought this a good way so we could all see the specials - not sure whether it will work across states - only one way to find out!

even if it works for those living close to each other or same state, would be good
