LOL Sherrie. Have you tried the no added sugar dark chocolate from Cocoa Farms - to die for. Worth every penny for lower carb dark chocolate that is NOT bitter.

Of course not necessary for cooking with, but soo good to eat. Needless to say I don't stock pile this, but have bought it twice now and would prefer to go without Well Naturally (and the accompanying digestive issues) on a regular basis for the occassional treat of this instead.

Yup I have had it but I like the lindt anyway especially dunking it into my hot coffee like you would a biscuit

Coles has a Free $34 Philladephphia Cheese cookbook when you buy 3 philly products. I bought 3 as I am into cheesecakes (thanks all for the recipes) i am planning to doctor some of the ideas...it looks good and I love to cook.

Went to Sunnybank China Town Friday to look for a chile/garlic sauce for hubby. Saw this recipie and thought it sounded right up hubby's ally but didn't have sauce -

Stir Fry Chili Garlic Chicken

1. Chicken Breast Strips
2. Chili-Garlic Sauce (usually near the asian/soy sauce at the grocery store)
3. Broccoli

Just put a little vegetable oil in a pan, add chicken till its brown, add sauce, stir, add broccoli and stir until chicken and broccoli is done.

not sure if you can freeze it but its simple and quick to make.

Anyway, found they have pretty cheap meats there. Chicken breast fillets $8.99/kg; Mince ~$5.99kg. Also got some awsome looking grass-fed Tbone steaks that are at least 1 inch thick from the butcher on Boundary Rd, Coopers Plains for $11.99kg (min. 2kg buy). This butcher also had short-cut bacon for $9.99kg and it's twice as thick as the supermarket stuff; free-range eggs 700g $4.50 dozen; Pork shoulder roasts $4.99kg. Spent more on meat than I usually do for a week, but have enough for 2 weeks & it's better quality, should be better tasting too.

Coles have their 86% dark chocolate on special this week for $1.74 you should find it next to the lindt, brand is Cote d'Or. If its not there, get someone to grab it from out the back for you.

Thought I'd quickly mention though today is the last day I believe, woolies have the 300g frozen berries by creative gourmet for around $2.60 which is around half price.

Im on the Gold Coast and at The Reject Shop it has Cadbury Lite Bars on special for $1 each.

Coles also have their Coles Brand Tuna in 185g tin for 99c. Comes in several flavours and types.

For people in SA, Foodland IGA has lindt for $1.74

I keep forgetting to mention that I was at Target the other day and they have 25% of clothing but also they already have a whole heaps of summer clothing on clearance (mens, womens and kids) and they are giving 25% off the clearance price as well. This includes bras etc as well. I saw $30 odd dollar bras for around $7 after the extra 25% Good way to stock up on kids summer clothing.

the local priceline store in bunbury has well naturally valencia orange flavoured choc. for 1.50 instead of 2.59.

Hey I just noticed yesterday that Coles are selling the 2 pack philly cheese blocks for $5, that's a bargain!

Especially, after looking in the fridge and noticing my home brand cream cheese is all out of date, never thought I'd see the day that cream cheese lasts long enough in my fridge to go out of date!

Atkins Day Break Bars are $2.04 at Woolies on special and are cheaper when normal priced at Woolies too.

Coles in QLD (not sure about other states) has edam cheese half price at their deli. So nice and almost same price as tasty - $9-99/kg I think - bought a 1/4 of one and it cost just over $5 and so yum.

Hey just thought I'd let you know that Coles in Brisbane had a promotion on where you got a free '4 Ingredients" cook book with the purchase of 2 Gourmet Garden Herb/Spice tubes. I have found quite a few low carb recipes in it like Corn and Chive Frittatas and Creamy Chives and Garlic Chicken just to mention a couple... All the recipes use the Gourmet Garden herbs and so far have been really tasty. Most impressed
