As cheese forms such a large part of my diet I am always looking for good cheese on special. For the last couple of weeks Coles have had block cheese from their deli section half price. Last week was Mersey valley and this week its Edam. When these cheeses are 26.00 kg down to $13.00kg it makes a nice change to cook and eat quality cheese rather than the block cheaper cheese in the aisles. Each week i bought 1 kilo cut into manageable amounts and froze them. They will also slice it into your choice of thickness. My local Coles said these specials should continue.

they do?.. I've looked everywhere, my local Coles was stocking the diego's low carb wraps but have ceased, I contacted the company and seems a local IGA has them now which is great but boohooo to stop selling the good stuff coles.. -

PS: the reason why 85% is ok is because it is so dark that each square is only 1.9g. Not only that, but because it is so dark you only need 1 or 2 squares. It's also good to use as cooking chocolate for low carb recipes.
It is much better then low carb sugar free chocolates because it isn't full of sugar alcohols and the like. It's just pure cocoa with vanilla extract and a very small amount of sugar, so no tummy upsets!Low Carb in a Nutshell ~ Carb Counts ~ Research ~ Measurements/Conversions ~ Glossary

On a food label where you have carbs and fats as well? that's just the protein content not the weight of the food as a whole. a 100g piece of meat might have something like 20-30g of protein.
If you're speaking of BT where they have 50g protein snacks and 100g protein mains then that's the weight of the protein as a whole. e.g. 50g beefLow Carb in a Nutshell ~ Carb Counts ~ Research ~ Measurements/Conversions ~ Glossary
