    • PP will freak if she know I listen to a gospel album while I walk.

Its the one they advertise throughout the afternoon shows on TV, and is really good.

My kids have a great laugh when I sing along as I walk as they can't hear it and they say I sing terribly. I get 30 minutes excersise and some reflection time all at the same time :)

I love listening to music when I work out, I do a lot of rmp and body pump classes and love the music that they play in those classes, so I cheat a bit and get the les mills song lists and buy the individual sogs on i-tunes. I listen to music when doing cardio and weights. I used to listen to my ipod when running outside, but ever since that bike track sex attacker was on the prowl in Brisbane, I got a bit scared about not being able to hear what was going on around me, so now I like to listen to my own footsteps as I run .. its kind of hypnotic after a while and I end up getting lost in my own thoughts..

Heres a few of my fav songs though
      Christina Aguilera - Fighter
      Europe - the final countdown
Harder/aster/stronger (cant remember who its by)
      DJ Alligator - Stomp
      Dr Alban - Alleluhiah (sp)
Evanscience - Bring me back to life
      Alphaville - Forever young
      Moonlight shado - trane version
Adagio for strings - cool down/stretch
      Free Your mind

I have loads, but these are some of my favourites :)

there is a certain beat time that I find is really good for walking too, I have a few tracks that are at that BPM (beats per min) but many that are not...the only one I can think of is 'sade-smooth operator', that always makes me walk a bit faster and really stride out... I wonder how I can find how many BPM that is?

When doing a fairly intense workout i tend to listen to Hatebreed.. yes it's heavy metal but really up tempo and has some great inspiring lyrics

      Hollow Ground lyrics

From nothing we have risen and from nothing we still rise

      Take your life back
      Fight, fight
Will you fight to take you life back?

Ask yourself what's truly yours in life
Are you in control or someone's slave?
All that you cherish, all that you love
In the blink f an eye can be taken from you
In moments of tragedy we bond
      And in weakness clarity thrives
I've been blessed with the inspiration
To take what little I have and always strive

Sometimes surviving is all that you can do
I never claimed to have all the answers of the solutions
My satisfaction is knowing, that my desires will not be killed
With a readiness to defend what is mine and never compromise

      The foundation of our lives
      Built on hollow ground
      We must unlearn the prejudice
      We must unlearn the lies

      I've seen the calloused
      I know the jaded
I've been disheartened and I've lost control
But I never crumbled and I've lost control
And I always force myself to believe

      (The foundation of our lives...)

      Are you willing to fight?
      Are you willing?

      (Take your life back...)
