Just wanted to let you know that I found Shiritaki Noodles in the Korean Grocery Store in Baulkham Hills (NSW). They are in the fridge, in single serve size packs (look like little pillows full of liquid and noodles). They only have Korean writing on the pack, except for the small english nutrition label on the back which says Shiritaki Noodle. About $2 a packet.
I haven't tried these ones yet, but thought I'd post for anyone in the Hills area that wants to give them a go
If anyone ever hears about these in Hobart please let me know.
If you go to the following website and choose Australia there are details of how you can buy them. You have to buy about $40 worth but they don't charge postage. Haven't tried them yet but will in the New Year.
The link etc is in the first post of this thread. If you use our link which has an ID associated with this forum then a small credit goes to help with the costs of this forum. With a link that has no id then it goes nowhere.
Hey zedp wing and co stock the noodles they are in launceston and I think Hobart.:D or there's a site called low carb zone that sell low carb pastas bt products etc that sell 1 pack at a time in angel hair pasta or fettuccine.

Ok Just received another email saying 13% off until midnight Jan 28 for some Australia day special, use code: aus13 in checkout, not sure if that's midnight Jan 28 Australia time or US time: Miracle Noodles
Hey, I had an email from these guys to say that they are now in Australia and that they now have rice!
They have an affiliate thing so I have set up an account so anyone that is planning on checking them out then it would be nice if you use my link which will go towards the cost of the site. I figured this would be good to do, as it looks like a good deal as you get 10 of these packages and I haven't seen rice before?
I still want this website to remain advertising free so it won't be pushed other then I will chuck a link in the shirataki thread and the Aussie products thread. I just have to think about the costs and now if I am to buy a house I have to be more realistic about these costs particularly if we get busier and I have to upgrade again and with Vbulletin changing I think I have to buy it again in a couple of months as I think they are changing the way their yearly licenses work to a lifetime license. So, I have set up this account but it is not an obligatory thing but rather if you plan on buying from them anyway then my link is there for you to use to help towards this website, kill two birds with one stone kinda thing.
When you go to the website make sure to select Australia in the top right corner.
My local IGA has every variety...super stocked
