    • Quiche Lorraine

      Low Carb Quiche Lorraine
      Makes 6-8 servings


      150gm diced bacon
      9 eggs
      1 1/2 cup thickened cream
      50gm cheddar cheese, shredded
      50gm mozzerella, shredded
      1/2 teaspoon salt
      Dash pepper
      Dash garlic powder


      Sauté the bacon until cooked. Take out bacon into a dish lined with paper towel to soak grease. Arrange the cheese evenly in the baking dish. Beat the eggs, cream and seasonings. Add cooked bacon to the egg mixture. Pour evenly over the cheese. Use spoon to mix around any bacon that is sitting in just one spot.

      Bake at 150º 35-40 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
